To embrace the one and only you love

As if holding this way a dream tight

A caged bird that must not escape

Well knowing the cruelty of this life

An existence you set out to share

Just like a milestone you arise

Your prized possession to defend

Against everything you shall fight

Friends or foes, they’ re all the same

For your will to be a shield

Avoiding her any harm or fear

Neither physical pain from other beings

Nor greatest sorrow deep within the mind

Nor the whole, worldly common suffering

Nor the worst, ever-haunting loneliness

Strong enough in this aim you’ d be

All you’ d give and then throw away

No boundaries shall prevent you to

Show your bravery melt with love

But your passioned soul cannot realize

How the nonsense has become so wide

For if you pass away whilst saving her

She will not live any instant without you

So enjoy your present day and hers

Leaving aside your pride and dullness

Better to live and face an end together

Than breaking apart such a precious tie.
